Methodology
Every pairing carries a status, a confidence level and its sources. Here is what they mean.
Status
| Verified closed-loop | Confirmed by a manufacturer document or a reproduced installer setup. |
| Open-loop only | Works without BMS communication (manual voltage profile) only. |
| User-reported | Reported to work by installers/users; not officially confirmed. |
| Unverified | Candidate data under review; not published as a page. |
Confidence
High = manufacturer source. Medium = credible installer guide. Low = single forum report. Confidence is shown next to every status.
Sourcing rules
We link to sources; we do not rehost manufacturer manuals. Descriptions are written in our own words. Protocol codes and DIP settings vary by exact model and firmware — always confirm against the current official manual before commissioning. A wrong setting can damage equipment.
Promotion to “verified”
A pairing is only raised to verified by a human reviewer against an official source — never automatically. Automated jobs only collect candidates and rebuild the site.
